Hello everyone! In this video we talk about cabinet doors. Why I make my own, how to do it, and how you can do it too! The key thing you'll need to make the doors like this is this router bit set: Whiteside model 5990: amzn.to/46PnApN These are also pretty handy Rachet strap clamps : amzn.to/3rutRqZ A slightly different type, but similar. (I can't speak on these because I haven't used this part...

Now that is damn nice, what a sweet job you did.
Thank you!
Amazing work!
Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you!
I'm disappointed with the OMTECH 80 Watt Laser. The assembly instructions were inadequate, leaving me struggling to piece it together. The laser beam is weak and inconsistent, making it difficult to achieve precise cuts or engravings.
There could be 2 reasons for this comment. One, you are being paid by a competitor of omtech to leave a negative comment, which happens a lot.. or two, you didn't take the time to read, study, and actually learn about the laser and expected to open the box and start engraving. A precise laser cutting machine takes a lot of patience and set up initially, in order to get good results. Either way, I don't work for or get paid by omtech, so you should probably send your complaint to them, along with your order number, etc. Their customer service is pretty good.
We have a TV cabinet. It has one fixed shelf at the bottom. We want to put adjustable shelves in that space. The problem is that the back board at the rear of the cabinet is attached. How do you attach the tool to drill the rear holes if the tool cannot attach to the back of the board?
I used this in a similar situation. What I did was unscrew the plexiglass part, and hold it in place, drill the lowest hole you want, and put the stopper/alignment piece in, then drill the highest hole you want and put the other stopper/alignment piece in. Those will hold it steady, so then you can drill all of the rest of the holes. Hopefully that makes sense.
Looks really cool. I was looking at reviews and how to use the kreg one I bought probably 7 years ago... and finally cracked open the package. I came across this video. Of course, now the link you provided is no longer available. But something to think about down the road. Do the plastic holes have tear out problems?
I've drilled literally thousands of holes with mine and so far the plastic holes have held up very well.
Its so beautiful
Yes it is!
I can’t get mine to unscrew for love nor money. The cone unscrews fine but the next section up that contains the focus lens won’t budge. It spins the entire head. Any suggestions?
I have two different kinds of these totes, some from Costco and some from Home Depot. Do you know which place you got your bins?
I got these from either Lowes or Home Depot, or possibly Sam's. I don't remeber now.
@@ReeseCustoms Thanks, that’s helpful!
Great looking job. When you are done with the handle on the knife do you put anything else on the finish or just buff it out ?
Thank you. When I'm done I just buff them out
i have been sitting here for three hours looking at videos and they took me all around the world to do this and your video was straight forward and right to the point i will be following you alot
Thank you! That's what I aim for.
The knife blanks made by cnc too?
These I have waterjet cut
Nice work! Thanks for the info! I’ll have to remember to look in an odd direction to get them to come off 😂 👊
60% of the time, it works every time.
Nice work
Thank you!
Nice!! What type of compound did you use to polish the micarta with?
Thank you! Since these are darker, it's just green compound. If this was a light color, I'd use automotive rubbing/polishing compound.
Great job 😊
Thank you!
What do you think of this mower? Have you ever seen one this far gone? What would you like to see in the future?
no protective glasses?
As long as you keep the guard down, you don't really need them.
Where is the said link for the free templates ??
It's on my website in the "available" tab. I couldn't figure out how to host the file and post it on the comments for download.
Thank you !!!
So many roasters
They literally didn't want me to talk. 🤣
Mate that was awesome, not only the end result in some wicked blanks but I loved the moulds you made up I am going to do the same hopefully will work for pen blanks. Is the mould release silicone spray. Many thanks
Thank you for the kind words! I'm. I'm not sure what's in the mold release, it just says mold release. Lol
Great work
Thank you! It was a mess.
Your a mean landlord 😂😂😂😂. I've never ever seen that many on and in the mower
Man tell me about it. They had to GO!
Should’ve changed the oil and greased everything up
All that is next. I just wanted to see if it ran. It was free, and I really didn't want to spend anything on it if it wouldn't run, so now that it does, I'll actually go through everything and get it all right. When I checked the oil in the very beginning of the video, it looked brand new, so I knew it was safe to run with that oil in it, but I'm not leaving it long term.
Maybe those sparks coming out of the exhaust might be roaches . Cooked well done.
That's what I'm hoping it was!
Nice work! You look like a very large man on that tiny mower
Thank you! I am not a small guy by any means.
@@ReeseCustomsnope 😘
I surely do hope you cleared it out of all the bugs far away from home.
Well, honestly, I didn't know that all of those bugs were even in there until I started pressure washing it. None crawled out while we were pushing it out of the woods, loading it on the trailer, etc.
This is awesome but my shelf is already built. It's a cherry wood closet armouir that has a glass top. It was my daddy's I want to add doors but really shelves more than anything. If it was not alreasy built this would be perfect! I love it thanks for doing this! 🎉🎉
You can actually take this apart and use the sides inside of the cabinet to drill shelf holes. I've had to do that a time or two when I've forgotten to add them before hand.
😮
Hey gotta cut these free hand, would you happen to have the dimensions of your cutouts?
Same.. it said the link would be in the comments .. to no avail ..
The link is in the video description to my website, where the patterns can be downloaded for free.
Built one heck of a divider with that cnc router. These boxes are on sale at Costco near me for $8 right now so I grabbed 20 of them to get organized in all similar boxes, right now I have a mixed set of many brands and it just looks disorganized. I really like the Rubbermaid "Action Packer" (black bin with red locking handles) but they are $35 each which is too rich for my blood.
It definitely looks more organized when all the boxes match. And $8 each is a crazy good deal!
Awesome work
Love this great work
or just get a hand plane
Got about 12 of them. This is better.
Very nice
Build always
Nice work
Nice
Great tip
Nice tip
I use "Library standards" and clips. As a former librarian, I can attest they'll hold up over 300 lbs. of books (4 foot long 3/4" shelf) and NEVER "let go" or punch thru the shelf or break-out of the sidewalls. Shelf pins can't claim that.
I'll have to look them up, sounds interesting.
Here is another suggestion for an upgrade. I bought 2 of the 27 gallon ones from Home Depot, and bought 2ft x2ft boards of 23/32 and cut them to match the inside bottom of these totes. Then I drilled holes through the wood and totes and added casters that I got at Harbor Freight (the blue 2" diameter ones). I got the swivel casters for all 4 corners. I did one about a month ago and the 2nd just the other day and they both work great to move out of the way in my limited space. They just glide around smoothly without any effort.
Are you wearing a mask when sanding a turning down the blanks
Oh yeah, definitely wear a mask. I use dust collection as well.
Thanks for the tip! Its always nice to make sure things are right esp when you get busy
No problem!
This is silly. Any journeyman is not going to have a problem making two accurate marks. But I suppose this is good as a safety measure for someone still learning.
This tip was aimed at beginners, but also helps if someone was to make one of their marks incorrect, etc. But even pro's, when working with high dollar wood, can take a few seconds to make sure their marks are right. Measure twice, cut once. Lol
How much was that cnc 😅
When I bought it years ago, it was about $1500
Thanks for the tip!
im working on building a closet and needed to make the holes perfect for my needs ordering now thanks
Awesome! This jig will make it super easy to get the holes done quick
Great tip! Love your content. Any chance at getting a full overlay cabinet building tutorial?
Thank you! Yes I could do a full length video on full overlay cabinet building! As a matter of fact, I can start filming this week.
A steal at $13? I don't by mine until they go on sale at Costco for $8.
$8? That is a deal!
@@ReeseCustoms It pays to have patience sometimes and my wife wouldn't call me patient, but she knows I can find the deals.
you have a dope beard brother
Thank you! Although it's overdue for some cleaning up.
